2023 Travel Grant Awardee Testimonials

Paola Andrea Martinez Murillo

"Attending the CIA meeting in Montreal was an excellent opportunity to listen to and interact with the best researchers in the field of allergies, which would help me to transition into the allergic field. These interactions were very useful to increase the network, get feedback to my work, get to know the big players in the allergy field and have a better understanding of the current needs and opportunities in the field."

Lorenz Aglaz

"Being awarded with the Alain L. de Weck Travel Grant made it possible for me to attend the Collegium Internationale Allergologicum (CIA) Biennial Symposium in 2023 in Montreal, Canada. The symposium was the perfect occasion for networking and was, so far, the best scientific symposium I have ever participated in."

Allyssa Phelps

"Thanks to the assistance I received from this award,  I was able to travel to Montreal and present research I have been working on during my PhD. This was the first opportunity I was given to present this research to an audience outside of my University. I was able to grow my presentation skills in a professional environment, while also learning from and interacting with very talented researchers/scientists in the field of allergy."
