2023 Symposium Highlights
Successful 33rd Biennial Symposium held in Montréal, Québec, Canada
The world’s leading experts in the field of allergy research recently gathered together during the 33rd Biennial Symposium of the Collegium Internationale Allergologicum at the Intercontinental Montréal, located within the historic World Trade Centre Montréal.
The meeting featured an excellent scientific program, with invited speakers delivering prestigious lectures. In addition, many insightful abstracts were presented as oral abstracts, poster lightning rounds and posters. Presentations ranged from basic science to clinical, with translational research throughout. View photos here.
CIA proudly awarded 19 young scientists with exceptional abstracts Travel Grants Awards to assist with cost of traveling to the Symposium.
In addition, CIA's current president, Dr. Thomas Bieber MD, PhD, MDRA happily inducted new members that have proven to be distinguished in the field of allergy and immunology.
We were grateful to have the ability to meet in person to share cutting-edge research, unpublished data and develop collaborations with our colleagues from both academia and industry. Also, a BIG thank you to our local organizing committee:
