Where do you work?

What are your research interests?

Dr. Guerrerio's research program is focused on understanding the genetic and immunologic pathways that lead to the development of food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, and other related diseases, and how this information can be translated into therapeutic benefit. Her group uses a multifaceted approach  utilizing both human samples and mouse models. Her current efforts are focused on investigating the environmental and immunologic factors that influence the development and severity of food allergy, identifying new approaches for the prevention and treatment of food allergy, and identifying single gene disorders associated with an increased propensity for food allergy and other allergic conditions.

What are your hobbies or what do you spend most of your free time doing?

Running and spending time with my family.

How has being a member of the Collegium benefited your career?

The opportunity to interact with some of the greatest scientists in the field of Allergy and Immunology who have been an inspiration to me throughout my career.
